Fever is a common symptom in babies and children. It is usually a sign that the body is fighting an infection.
Use a digital thermometer to measure your baby’s temperature. A fever is generally considered when the temperature is above 38°C (100.4°F).
Ensure the baby stays hydrated and comfortable. Dress them in light clothing and monitor their temperature regularly.
Seek medical attention if the baby is younger than 3 months with fever, has difficulty breathing, persistent vomiting, or appears unusually lethargic.
